Suicide Prevention & Grief Assistance
The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us, but those who fight battles we know nothing about.

If you’re here, chances are your life has been forever changed by suicide.
You may be carrying grief that feels impossible to explain—grief layered with shock, anger, guilt, confusion, and an endless loop of what ifs. You may feel isolated, even in rooms full of people. And you may wonder if anyone truly understands what this kind of loss does to a heart.
I do.
The Strength to Live was created as a healing space for survivors of suicide loss—a place where your pain is acknowledged, your questions are welcome, and your story is honored.
Around the world, more than 800,000 people die by suicide every year.
In the United States alone, nearly 47,000 lives are lost annually.
But what’s talked about far less is what happens after.
For every life lost, at least 10 people are left behind—parents, children, spouses, siblings, friends—trying to survive the aftermath. Many live quietly in the shadows of grief, carrying shame that doesn’t belong to them and searching for answers that may never come.
Here, we speak that truth out loud.
This is not a space for platitudes or rushed timelines.
This is not a space where grief has an expiration date.
This is a place where:
Together, we move toward healing—not by forgetting, but by transforming pain into meaning, compassion, and connection.
Whether you are newly grieving or years into this journey, you’ll find support here through:
You don’t have to do all of this at once. Healing unfolds one breath, one moment, one choice at a time.
Our hearts may be forever changed—but they are not empty.
The people we lost lived with courageous strength.
It is now our role to carry their memory forward with love, not shame.
As survivors, we become teachers of empathy, tolerance, and understanding. We are living proof that even after tremendous loss, life can still hold meaning, peace, and moments of hope.
Your story was never ugly.
Your love was never misplaced.
And your life still matters.
